Plumbing and electrical work in Riga

Electrical rewiring, water and drainage pipe replacement, heating systems and riser connections. We carry out this work both as part of a renovation and on its own.

In the old fund and Soviet-era series-built housing, these two systems are usually the oldest and most heavily loaded elements in the whole apartment.

What tends to go wrong on this job

Aluminium connected to copper

A direct connection oxidises, heats up and over time becomes a fire risk. If the wiring is replaced only partly, the connection point has to be dealt with separately.

New wiring on old capacity

If the distribution board and the incoming supply stay the same, new wiring with an induction hob and underfloor heating overloads them. We check the capacity before drawing up the plan.

Risers that stay unreplaced

New plumbing in an apartment connected to a 40-year-old riser solves only half the problem. If the riser can't be replaced, that needs to be known before the estimate.
